Treatment Options

I am proud to offer a serene and safe space for face-to-face counseling sessions. Sessions are held in a finished tiny home/ cabin office . The cabin is situated under tall Oak trees with a stunning view of the Laurel Highlands.

I have been utilizing technology to provide effective telehealth therapy sessions since the pandemic began. Life’s numerous obligations can make attending therapy in person challenging, but with telehealth, you can receive the support you need from the comfort of your own space. Whether you’re facing time constraints or struggling with childcare responsibilities, telehealth offers a convenient solution to access therapy.

Kelly Tamburro, LPC, CNIT

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from California University of Pennsylvania and five years of experience in the field. I am certified in nature-informed therapy, and my practice operates out of a unique, non-traditional setting, providing a calm and grounding environment for my clients.

My eclectic therapeutic approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to treat anxiety and depressive disorders, while also helping clients with goal setting and personal development. Grounded in the principles of behaviorism, I empower my clients to make meaningful changes through practical, evidence-based strategies.

I bring warmth, humor, and a down-to-earth style aiming to build strong, trusting relationships while guiding individuals through their challenges. As a mother of two and a veteran spouse, I understand the complexities of family life, and these personal experiences inform my compassionate and empathetic approach.

When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy running and completed my first full marathon in November 2024! Camping and kayaking with my family are some of my favorite activities. Crocheting also keeps me balanced and centered.
